Done with school!

I'm officially done with ICU once I turn in my library books tomorrow, get the forms filled out and turn 'em in with my student ID. Yes, I need to turn my student ID in. :( It makes me kind of sad but it's ok! I also have to turn in my gaijin card. ... I need to take care of that tomorrow, I suppose. So much to do tomorrow!

So yes, I'm done with finals and everything of the sort. It's very liberating! No more commuting for three hours everyday. :) I'm busy with going around Tokyo, though. Going to Akihabara, Harajuku, Shibuya-- finishing up business, shall I say? I'll be going off to the Kansai region (Kyoto and Osaka) this Thursday by shinkansen (bullet train). I hope that I get to take the fastest one! It's called Nozomi. :) I'm going to buy my ticket for that tomorrow. Probably have to book a bus back but I think that we can take care of that at the Kyoto station.

After that, it's Hokkaido. My friend and I are going to stay at a capsule hotel the day that we come back from the Kansai region. Then it's off to Haneda airport, to meet with Yuri and Jessi for Hokkaido's winter wonderland. There won't be much snow there, I don't think. I've seen it on the news on TV and it looks normal. Just really rainy and really cold. @_@;;

Then, after Hokkaido, I'll be back in Tokyo for four days. I'll really be finishing up business then. Probably am going to Asakusa to get all the Japanese-y looking gifts (though Kyoto may be a better place for this?) and do last minute shopping that I can only do in Tokyo. ... In other words, going to Shibuya's Book Off and buying cheap manga, children's picture books and cook books. >_>;;; Will have to stock up on omiyage.

It's busy. I only have two and a half weeks left in Japan. Everything did go by very quickly but I feel like I've been here for a long, long time. All the past events of this quarter feels so far away. I've fallen in love with living in Japan but at the same time, I really miss America. If I had to choose which one to live in, I would be ok with either. :) Sure, things are typically more expensive here in the Land of the Rising Sun but at the same time, there are so many things in this country that the States doesn't have.

まあ、いいや。 Let's leave the reflection entry for another day. :)

I need to start packing and thinking about where to leave my luggage! The capsule hotel in Akihabara stores luggage so I might just leave it there while I travel around.

Will post pictures later (or just refer you to my facebook >_>;)! Oh, oh, I bought leg warmers. Here's a picture to show you. This was outside of a Taito arcade. There was a sign on the thing that said to not touch it, so I took a picture while adhering to the rules.

Byeee!
